Hello all, I am pretty new to this whole forum thing. I have a question. Do collectors look for pull type combines? I have a 42 JD that the only time it hasn't been shredded was when we used it? It's taking up space and not sure what to do. Thanks

It has a small grain head. The older guy that had it before me harvested clover with it. And this gem has a square back on it.

I don't know what they are worth. I know I have seen some posts from about 5 years ago with a price but I know times have changed even in 5 years. Maybe you have an amount of what it's worth. Thanks

Some people want them. One just sold at auction here in Ohio and I know the fellow that bought it. I forget how much it brought though ? It was WAY MORE than I'd of thought !

I had a #30 I liked it ,,but it was wide to move and impossible to haul, a #42 has a head that will come off and a corn head can be fitted onto them,,a wheel base that will fit on a trailer. I am looking to restore equipment to show with my 60's. Here is one that will be at one of the big auctions next Spring, it is way over the top on a great restoration,,near too pretty to use.

That is a very nice combine. Mine is in the shed yet and seems to be a catchall. I do have a couple of pictures not good ones.
