The Massey Harris 15 combine with Massey Harris 101 and the Massey Harris Clipper SP were seen harvesting wheat at the Annual Club Rally of the "Case and Vintage Farm Machinery Club" (all makes are welcome) near Christchurch, New Zealand, in March 2007

What corn head is that on the 95? Just wondering if you have any weights on the rear and if so where?

Hey Poppers, sure do like that 95. There are still a few neighbors that bring in the harvest with them. Can't beat them for simplicity and reliablility. Like that 60 too, if it wasnt for the long bar short bar tires it could very well be a picture from 1957, nice pictures.

Never seen a hopper extension like that. Looks good, i am guessing you don't fill it full. With the angles you have from the front view it kind of looks like an oversized 105 grain tank. Are you running the original planetaries or did you put ones on from a 20 series? Both the combine and tractor are a nice looking set of machines.

Neat picture with both of them working. Do you rake and bale up the bean straw where the john deere combined or just disk it under.

We fill it up on level ground, hold 365 bushels. Custom made hopper by previous owner. 7700 HD Planetaries-but wheels are dished in to distribute load. Everyone says it won't take it but it has been for 30 years since this was built in 79.

Was that 7700 with the custom bin extension pictured in a Farm Journal or Successful Farming magazine back when it was new?

If i remember right, that one featured in the magazine was a 7720 and it was built up high rather than real wide. I think those guys reinforced the frame, but i don't remember how many bushels it would hold. LIke pbutler said, as long as your on the level and take it easy them old deeres can handle a lot.

Yes it was, I sure would like to get a copy of that magazine. The builder was David Fathauer from Dalton City, IL.
