commpression test on a ford dexta diesel

You would need a ''diesel compression tester'' with the correct adapter to fit in place of an injector.

Dave welcome to YT! You are new I will try to be nice
but what do you call the items circled in my photo? I realize that it only shows two of the three. If
you do not have these and have spark plugs with a
wire to each cylinder you have what we like to call in
the US a ..gasoline.. engine. Maybe you were trying to
say the engine has no glow plugs.

As said it either has injectors as circled in the picture posted by used red or it has plugs if no plugs it's got injectors to be a diesel and you need a special tool to fit in the injector hole for the test.

So as originally stated by wore out the diesel injectors
are pulled and an adapter is fit in place of it and the
cylinder compression is tested. The kit in the first link
almost has a price that is to good to be true so I would
question the quality. It looks like it may have a
..bridge.. to clamp one of the adapters in place for your
injectors. You would have to see if the seller could give you more info. In the second link it shows another
companys adapter. It says Perkins adapter for 21mm
injectors, but does not show a 3-144. Dieseltech on
here would be able to tell you what size the injectors in
it are if he happens to view this thread.
