Compression Numbers

Did a compression test on my 961 tonight and here's what I got. How to they look to you? Tractor seems to be running fine but I thought my #1 wasn't firing. After checking it a bit more last night, it seems to smooth out after about 5 minutes of run time. Also probably going to need to invest into a more accurate tester instead of this old workhorse I borrowed from the shop. It's seen better days.

Not great but not bad.

Any misfire on #1 is not caused by low compression.

What's wrong with your compression tester?

just curious why the diagrarm show cyls 3421 in that order?

Nothing wrong with your tester that I can see.

whats your problem,,, are your plugs running clean or fouling? Have you pulled your plug wires one by one to find your misfire?? Are your sure your not running too lean and the end cyls are suffering more? swapped plugs around to see if misfire follows the plug?? swapped wires around to see if misfire follows the wire? check inside dist cap for carbon tracks, moisture, cracks, burnt posts?

Oops.... Typo on the cylinder #'s. The misfire seems to clear up after it warms up but still no noticeable difference when I pull the #1 wire. Pull any of the other 3 wires and it stumbles. Getting plenty of spark on 1. Bright blue and jumps 1/4" easily.
