My wife and I have separate emails with Google. Hers has somehow locked up, but mine
is working properly. I've checked some areas of "helps" but don't find anything that makes sense to me. Thanks for any help about what I can try to fix this.

Shut down and unplug for 5 minutes. Then restart. I can't explain it but sometimes that gets things going again.

Going to need to elaborate on what "locked up" means.
When she tries to log in, what does it say after entering password?
Our emails are set so that we don't need to enter a password when we enter.

When she does try it just open to a blank screen.

I don't know how to describe it any better

If your able to see the sign out button log off Gmail and restart the computer and log back in and see if it works,
You can also try signing on to Gmail from a different computer.

Your Google mail/Gmail is web based, that means accessed through the internet. That means you could go to your local library using about any browser Edge, Chrome, Firefox and on those go to the Gmail sign in page enter your email and password and go to your email. I am guessing something happened to her password or Gmail has requested for it to be changed due to some activity they have seen. You can go to her email by searching on your browser..Sign in Google Accounts.. and as I said above enter her email and password and go to her email. This might tell you right here if a reset of her password is being required. I am not up to speed on it but somewhere in the settings on your PC you should be able to find the settings for the saved passwords. It has to be saved somewhere in your PC to let you automatically access it as you have been doing. It may also be set up in your browser settings.

I assume you are on Windows. Are you using different computers, separate Windows accounts on the same computer, or do you both share the same Windows account?
