Few weeks ago I asked what would be a good printer to travel with and not to pricey? HP Office Jet 250 all in one, CZ992A, was suggested and look like it would do the job well, has its own battery and small in size. Problem for me was the price was more than I wanted to spend. My solution was to go to Wal-Mart and buy the simplest color printer. It is an Connon MG 2522 for $39.99 Only had a short month but so far has done what I needed. As always, Thanks for you help.
 
Did you mean a CANON? HP used to be decent but they no longer are very good with tech support -avoid HP at all costs. I still have and use my HP 2652 but as with every HP printer I've had, they suck up the ink cartridges. I don't buy them from wally world or equivalent. I shop deals on ebay - 2-fer. Same price for 2 as wally sells one for. Ink jet lasers are the best, but most expensive. I have a plotter I got from my old company. They stored it as nobody knew how to run it but I have been storing it too - no room nor need since I'm retired from engineering now.

After I changed to Windows 10 on this computer my HP 8150 printer would no longer work, Incompatible the tech support people from Micro-Soft and HP both said. I bought a Canon Pixma G-5020 Ink tank printer and have had good success with it. It comes with a lot of ink and the ink costs is much better than the HP cartridges were even though I was using remanufactured cartridges.

Yes, Canon would be correct, Thanks Tim for catching my error. Shaky fingers and weak eye sight make it easy to make errors.
 
You might need to reinstall the driver for the HP Printer. Agreed with MS - useless for TECH SUPPORT nowadays. Bill Gates needs to go back and worry about his company rather than talking trash and nonsense with eating bugs and greenie climate control BS. Perhaps he still thinks the Mother Ship is coming for him?
