Case 430/441 manual says to put into torque tube housing with Eagle Hitch SAE 10W30 or hydraulic oil or automatic transmission fluid. What's the difference> Seems to me should be using hydraulic oil. All comments appreciated. Pembroke

Before modern hyd/trans fluid something like a straight 20 weight might have been used. I remember some AC D17IV and One_Eighty tractors coming from the factory with ATF in the hyd/power director reservoir. Yet the chart we had for filling them stated hyd/trans fluid.
New Holland went through about everything with their skid steer loaders. ATF/trans/hyd fluid/motor oil.
Often the correct quantity of good quality clean oil is much more important than the absolute type.

Does it have clutch packs or hydraulic brakes? I f yes you need trans hydraulic or Hy Tran. If not plain old cheap hydraulic.
