Does anyone know the part number for a decent set of points (Echlin, Blue Streak, Standard) for the TO-20?
I got a set from here and they won't stay adjusted. They go from .020 to zero. Yes the lock down screw is tight. I think the rubbing block is disintegrating because there is some powder like stuff laying on the distributor plate that wasn't there before.

You got points lube on that rubbing block, right?
Give Napa a look for a fair set of points.

NAPA's Echlin line is made by Standard Motor Products, which makes the BlueStreak/Standard products.

Just a thought, is there any play in the distributor? Those bushings can be replaced too.

Thanks guys for the replies. Bruce, yes I did put cam lube on.
After I posted this yesterday, I went on NAPA online, and did a search, not on Ferguson T0-20, but on Delco Remy 1111722 point set and came up with several Echlin numbers and the second one looks right. ECH CS763A.
My nearest NAPA store is about 15 miles from here, so after getting last nights and tomorrows snow cleaned up I'll pursue that. Although, I can check with O'Reilies which is closer for the Blue Streak ones.
