contacting other member(s)

There are a few fellows here who seem to be close to me and have some things in common. How can I contact them without putting my info out there for every web info thief to vacuum up? In another forum I visit, there are private messages (pm's) for this. I'm not trying to sell anything, or anything else that would be considered improper.

Have you checked modern view for more options? I am not familiar with all it does but it might give you what you are looking for.

You've done it already. You have left your e-mail open. Those other guys would too, if they wanted to be contacted, or didn't mind if others contacted them. So they probably don't want to be contacted. Everyones' free choice.

You already have your e-mail open so just list there names and they will get back to you if they want to.

Post who it is you want to contact you and they can send E-mail to you by clicking on [Send E-mail] at the lower right hand corner of your post. Your address is protected. At least that is they way I understand it.

Scott,the Modern view has a personal message box at lower LH corner to supposedly do what you desire. Tx Jim
