Converting Power-Trol

Well I can finally say that I am a proud John Deere owner! It took my awhile but I recently purchased a 1946 John Deere B to add to my collection. Couldn't be prouder!

Anyways, the reason that I am posting on this discussion is because my John Deere has a Power-Trol and I have heard, but not been able to figure out, how to add a quick attach coupler so that I can run a cylinder. Can someone, in detail (with possible pictures) tell me what I need to do and where I need to put these couplers. Sorry for taking up everyone's time, I'm just really excited about my new purchase and ready to have some fun with it!

its a simple matter of finding the right plumbing parts to put a quick disconnect on the end of the correct spindles that goes in the power trol to operate a cylinder. one set of plugs works the cylinder, a different set of plugs works the rocker shaft. both can't work at the same time. just buy the coupler you need and carry your plugs with you and match oup the correct fittings. i did mine but its been so long ago that i don't remember what it took to do it. the bracket on the side of the power trol with two holes top and bottom that are open is to store the plugs in that you aren't using. there is a sleeve that goes over those plugs to keeep the dirt out of the plugs. good luck on finding those covers. i believe they make two different sizes of the plugs and covers. one for a's and one for b's.
