Cool 140 Paver

While travelling through New Hampshire in Late August, I came across this beastly looking machine.
The dealer was in Coos County, not too far North of Dixville Notch. Did not get the name of the dealer but there was a General Tire sign at the place of business. Anybody know the fella?

Nash equipment is not as interesting as it was 15 20 years ago it is cleaned up allot in the last 15 years it was real interesting years ago lot of of the wall stuff and lots of equipment think his painter was his best mechanic runs good got a new coat of paint on it and out it went

I grew up not far from the Trac factory in Nunda. In the late 50's there were always a dozen or so brand new 350, 450, 460, etc. tractors lined up in the yard waiting to be incorporated into paving machines. The tractors all sat on blocks - they were delivered to Trac without wheels. Sadly Trac Machinery closed in the early 60's - the building now houses a nut butter operation.

There are a couple 400/450 based Trac pavers in private collections here. Don't ever recall seeing a 140 paver however. Interesting old machine!

It seems to have a wide left rear axle, similar to a Farmall B (which had long ceased production when 140s were built).

There was a 460 paver built on a high crop chassis in Bosrah, CT. It was in a tractor salvage yard that was moved to Long Island, NY. That would have been a few ferry trips. Probably got cut up during the move. It wasn't a bad yard until the father sold the operation to his airhead son.
