coolant path diagram for 8N

Would anyone have a cut away or otherwise simple typical diagram of the coolant flow path for an 8N?

From the radiator to the coolant pump and distribution to return to radiator. I surly would appreciate it if they exist anywhere to print out.

(quoted from post at 17:17:39 05/23/21) Out of the bottom hose, through the block, to the head then back to the radiator through the top hose.

Not much to it.

Thank you, great photo. I bought a replacement coolant pump, when I examined it the impellers were curved in the opposite direction of the original! So I set out to determine which was correct. In correct rotation in relation to impellor curve both would pump. The correct curve will pump better or higher GPM.

have looked into that impeller situation myself and concluded that the "pump" design on the Ns is not a true centrifugal pump, but more like a paddle wheel, so the direction of curvature, while makes a difference, the difference in flow is small.

I will agree to the point of either the stream water turns the Grist Mill or the reverse occurs when pumping using stream power to run a smaller pump up hill.

A impeller
pump with straight or curved impellers can be powered by outside forces. Blow by often does happen when the head pressure exceeds the pumps ability to push.

The
significance may seem small in efficiency in relation to rocket ships I suppose more important. When In a straight perpendicular to center impeller is used there is no
negative or positive. I would submit though that when measured, the difference of through put is more significant.

Impeller pumps essentially spank the fluid and it goes to the
easiest exit just like Voltage. I believe the 8N coolant pump to meet all the criteria of a impeller pump dynamically.

unning for public office? :)

As far as my running for Public Office goes JMOR, I'm just way too honest and I would run on the Platform of a Promise to do Nothing for anyone ever. I will Promise to keep that promise, if I were a Politian that is. 😘
