Would anyone have the paint code for a 1947 E3 Coop Tractor??

call van sicyle paint they have great cockshutt red and cream they mixed the red to specs as they did not sell a lot I'm sure they have co-op orange. do be carefull what ever you do as there are a lot of funney orange co-op's. post for matt in on tractor tales he has several co-op's

I don't know about the early orange but the later orange is very close to VW Pumpkin orange
used on the 1970's autos.

The picture is a 1947 CO-OP E3 I took the nose strip to the paint shop and they matched it on a computer and mixed me up two gallons.I have never seen a paint code for the early CO-OPs. The paint for an early CO-OP is a lighter orange than the pumpkin orange used on the later ones. The decals I had made at a local sign shop. The paint on the weight is an orange I had laying around. This is a working tractor not a show tractor. No automotive high gloss paint on it, it's closer to what was put on at the factory.

Beautiful tractor. Can you tell me where the line is drawn between the "early" co-ops and later "co-ops"?

I really don't know when the color changed but I don't think the light orange lasted very long.
Here's a 1952 I found in the Tractor photos Look in TRACTOR PHOTOS on the left side of the page, search for COOP Co-op or any other way it can be spelled.
