copper core wires

Where can I buy copper core spark plug wires not on the internet? Everywhere I go seems to only have automotive wires that aren't copper.

There is a wiring harness dealer in NJ that advertises on the unofficial allis forum who stocks kits in copper.

Also marine engine shops use copper wires for plugs.

Some farm stores carry them too.

Our local TSC has them on the shelf. Might want to check your local farm store. auto parts stores normally dont carry them. Our local NAPA will order them and I can have them in about two days.

Our local Napa dealer carries them in stock kits for 4 or 8 cylinders. Buy the 8 it will do two 4s for a lot less money.

You'll have to ask for a generic wire set, then you cut them to length and attach the ends. $18 at Napa and I got to choose the boot shape. Forget O'ZoneAutoQuest.

Local O'Rielly Auto parts store can get the Packard 400 wire on a spool. It is a metal core.Does not look like solid copper but it is NOT carbon.
