How is it looking. Most of ours looks good but see some yellowing.About a week and a half from laying by. Used no dry fertilizer- 4tnslitter .
Cut popup/nitrogen to 8g each.

Got about 10 acres left to plant. Some wetter spots.

First planted is starting to push a root & sprout out of the kernal. Still pretty cold here, don't see any corn emerged at all. Oats is out of the ground for the most part.

Weeds just starting to show up, so shouldn't be long for the corn to start showing either.

Broadcast 400# last fall, put on 120# NH3, and about 100# of granular starter with the planter, including a few pounds of sulfur. That should deal with next year's beans, as well.

I got 1/3 of my corn planted bout 10 days ago.

It is not up yet but is sprouted.

Had a good day yesterday and got 170 acres in.

Needed a little more than a day to finish.

It"s raining this morning so we are on hold again.

I put 30 units of nitrogen down with the planter. The rest of the 150 units will go on when the corn is about 12" tall. Maintenance level of P and K were put on last fall.

ne illinois. nothing in the ground yet, been geting too much rain, bout time the fields are almost dry enough to get in, dang rain comes along and soaks er up pretty good. prolly gonna be a drought this summer too.

Gary,
I would hate to pay your seed bill if youare using Round Up Ready seed. It is 215 a bag here in NC. How much per acre do you have invested after everything is done?
