Fall harvesting of corn in ND is always a challenge. This fall with 10" of rain since Labor Day and the last 3" coming as freezing rain makes things just that much more interesting. Thought I would share photo as they speak lots of words.

Try again with photo...

Nice photo, very glad I finished today, thought going around all the debry from the barn that got hit by a tornado was fun, just glad it was on the very north of the farm and olny an acre or two.

Wow ! Some guys have all the fun! lol i remember picking corn with snow blowing sideways one year. wish i had a full heat houser instead of just the front and sides. But even that seemes like an full cab with ac ,heat and stereo. lol Maybe you can put a hot wire around it and hog it down.

Yessir, January in the corn field was fun. We had D-15 Allis w/heat houser in front of a New Idea pull type and it got plenty warm unless the wind was howeling at you from the rear. Those old heat housers were pretty amazing for a few dollars worth of canvas and some see tru plastic eh? I remember hating to get off to unhook the wagons or to fix the occassional problem with the picker when it was minus zero out. If they werent keeping up at the crib the D-15 would cool off while waiting for a wagon and I would loose my heater, LOL
