Correct gray color for a 2N

We are getting close to start painting some parts on a 2N where restoring. I’m having trouble finding the right PPG color codes for battleship gray. I’ve come up with three different codes so far 30570, 32663, and 33302. I called up my paint supplier and the kid on the other end of the phone said 30570 is called dark blue met, whatever that means. He is not the guy I usually deal with. Anyways after a couple hours of searching the Internet I haven’t come up with a definitive answer. Seems to me somewhere I had seen a chart that had the correct gray color for 2 and 9N’s. Does anybody know what the correct PPG number would be?

I used Tisco 'Ford Dark Gray' TP2888 on my '44.

I have seen Tisco at a couple of farm stores around here. I’m familiar with Omni MTK. So I kind of want to stay with the same paint. It is acrylic urethane. Really holds its shine. You only thing I don’t care about that paint is it’s kind of hard on the lungs. I have been using a charcoal respirator. I have an old supplied air respirator. I haven’t used in a long time. I think I might go back and try it again. Thing I don’t like about that is there’s one more hose you got a drag around.

If you want to paint it to look factory do it the way ford would've done... go to your local store and buy the cheapest dark gray paint that is enamel or whatever kind of automotive/farm paint you want and use that. then you can confidently say you've painted it like henry ford himself would've. Yes this is true Ford did in fact use whatever dark grey was cheapest there was no specific "correct" 9N or 2N gray Every machine was different. I'm not saying Ford cheaped out it was a strategy that they planned out to save money on production that same strategy could save you some cash too.
