looking for a piston for a Ford 1100 deisel tractor.All local sources have been questioned with no results. It's a real work horse but no good to me as is.

Several years ago, I had a friend who was able to get discontinues compressor parts from these guys. While they do maintain an inventory of proformance parts, they also reproduce parts like sleeves and bearings for engines that are no longer supported by repair parts. I don't know if they are able to fabricate pistons, thou they do sell high performance pistons for bikes etc. They are expensive, but if this is a part that is unavaliable, you may want to give them a call.
