i am working on my mothers lawn tractor,26 hp i changed the mower blades and all the belts as this thing has been neglected for quite some time. I ran it around my yard and mowed my 3/4 acre of grass -no problem. I went out to start it to load on the trailer to take it back and every time i let out the clutch it dies. If i pull the switch to engage the mower it dies. I tried to jumper out the seat switch and it still dies. I am thinking bad mower switch but figured i would ask those that know better than i as parts aint cheap. Thanks Chuck Davis

You can't just jump this seat switch, There is a small switch with-in this seat switch plug connector. Make sure the connector is pushed on the switch tightly. If it is check the seat switch with a multimeter to see if it's opening/closing while pushed.
