I just got my parts back from the machine shop. I left the crankshaft gear on the crank when I took it to the machine shop and can not determine what order they go back on in. I can't find it in the search or the IT manual.

Thanks

Chris (in Michigan needing to get this back together to move some snow.)

Ck1.The crank gear goes on the crankshaft first with the dot on the gear facing out. Then the oil slinger goes on the crank snout before the front cover goes on.The camshaft spacer goes on the cam shaft sprocket before the front cover also.

ok, so the part on the left is for the camshaft. Correct?

which direction does it go on?

Thank you

Correct,The part on the left or bottom is the camshaft thrust spring. The tabs go towards the cover. The thrust spring was placed in production after SN. 8N 187030,But many tractors have had them added to older models at overhaul time in the past.

The 4 tabs go between the 4 bolts on the camshaft gear and it sits in the pccket of the cam gear. The smooth face rubs against the timing cover.

Same as Chris that started this topic, I just got my parts back from the machine shop. I left the crankshaft gear on the crank when I took it to the machine shop, I cannot determine the direction the part in the middle of his picture should face. Does the bottom of the cup go in toward the key or out toward the pulley?
