Crawler Tractor Identification

A good friend of mine from California recently came across some old family farm photos from the 1940's. Two of them are of old crawler tractors they had on the farm. It appears they might be Cletrac or Oliver models. Can anyone help ID these?

Any info would be appreciated!

Bottom one is an HG. They were introduced in 1939. The top one is a Cletrac but I need to look at the picture a little more. The"stramlined Cletracs came on line in about 38 or 39.

The HG is an HG31 which is the very narrow gage model of the HG series. Notice the fenders and the steering lever is on the outside of the operators leg (all other HGs have the steering levers in between the operator legs.

Thanks for the great responses!

Browsing pictures of old crawlers on the net, I wonder if the top picture is a Cletrac 15 or 20? I notice, though, that these consistently have 5 track rollers and the pictured tractor has 4 (and no visible carrier roller).

Edit: Looking at more pictures on the net, I think Gordy might be right about the top picture being an (unstyled) E. It looks like they came both styled and unstyled.

I'm not sure how my latest post ended up seemingly out of order below the original post, but wanted to be sure and say thanks all for the helpful responses
