Now all you need to do is put it right side up so we do not have to stand on our heads to see it. But by standing on my head I can say it looks a lot like the D-4 Cat a friend of mine has
 
If it"s a Cat it"ll have a nameplate with serial number on the left side of the engine, toward the rear. Also a plate on the rear of the crawler. If the engine has not been changed, the serial numbers on those two plates will be the same.
 
That's a rare WWII Australian Caterpillar. CAT spec'd them like that for the Army so they couldn't be brought back here when the war ended.

looks just like my td9 same blade assembley and looks like IH fuel tank or a td6 can't see carb or injection pump to know for sure value would depend on if it runs and if steering clutches are stuck and undercarriage I sold mine for $1200 and it ran and looked good but undercarriage was poor and left clutch stuck I know of a really good td9 for$3500
 

That one is for grading ceilings L.O.L .--good thing you have a sense of humour Steve -- these guys are really beating you up.

My guess is a D4
