Crazy August

I'm not arguing. Just take it as it comes. This is usually our driest time of year.

We bit the bear today.
Send it down stream. We dried up and need it. We wouldn't be quite so bad if it wasn't so hot, but things aren't looking so good.

Things are changing in a bad way.

I see some responses to this thread, and I hope the best to y'all. You need rain...........I hope you get rain. This might all be flipped on its head next year........who knows.

We have had a good year here, although getting first crop hay up was tough and a lot got rained on. I was lucky and got all mine up good. It is a bit dry now, but last night we got 2/10 with a 5% chance of rain. Looks like a couple days of rain coming up. Not to worry, ill have to cut my oats soon so it should start raining again. Lol

2 weeks ago we were hovering around 100, been above 90 for like 36 days or something like that and getting very dry. Last week, and thos week so far we have had rain almost every day, and it hasnt goten about 82.

Western Illinois, we got 5+ inches since Saturday night. 10 miles away didn't get a drop.
We went down through Ohio on the 127 Yard Sale as far as Celina last Thursday and Friday. It seemed spotty, in and out of wet and dry.

Driest summer I have ever seen in central Maine, only got a couple inches in July and zero the last 4 weeks with temps in the 80's and 90's, 100 the last 2 days. Starting to see some forest fires. 🧑‍🌾
