DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A RESONABLE FREIGHT CO. ? I HAVE A PALLET OF TRACTOR PARTS IN WASHINGTON STATE THAT NEED TO GO TO MN. LOOKING TO FIND BETTER RATES THAN FED-EX

Try a broker like freightquote.com or unishippers.com.
They can usually quote you a better rate; have it shipped by the same company you called and make a profit because of the leverage they have with freight companies.

The thing you need to stay away from is the hidden extra charges. Things like notify service; lifgate; residential; inside delivery; etc. You are required to load and unload the truck (at the tail gate). Any thing else is extra.
If you are not truthful upfront thinking once the bill is paid and the freight is pickup you will get over on them; think again. If they get to delevery site and it is a residience or you need a liftgate; they will hold your freight ransom till you pay the extra charge.
You can do dock pickup or delivery to avoid these charges.

Mark, I just had AC tractor engine shipped from ILL to Socal for $260, Check out Roadway/Yellow freight. CC
