Cross engine case

We recently got this 15-27 crossengine case. After a bit of tinkering it runs nicely

Good for you, every one I've looked at has sat in a fence row for 75 years or, if like yours, the asking price is so high, I just pass.

Yes you’re right. This one sat most of its life under a roof on a sawmill but they must have used it for field work some because of the wide wheels. When my friend got it he had it in a shed for many years. His Dad had one when he was small and he was pulling a breaking plow with a 4 horse team hitched to the front of it. He doesn’t have a picture of that but it would be nice to have one.

It is priced a bit high in my opinion but thats just me, It is hard to find a cross engine case with the manifolds intact but they are around i guess. we got lucky because ours is in good shape. The 22-40 is a good sized tractor though, very desirable to some people.
