I am a recent widow trying to keep up a 1 acre large yard. I Just had Cub Cadet 2146 repaired yesterday. Today I was paying a young man to mulch the leaves in my yard. He left
the lawn tractor sitting in the middle of the yard and left. When I called to inquire as to why he did not put the tractor under the shelter, he said the oil was out and it just quit
running. He said that was a "safety feature?"
Question: How to you determine when the oil is getting low? I was told there was no way to tell until it just stops running and then you can not start it again until you add oil.
Is there not an oil level indicator?
Sorry to have to ask this question, but I feel that I am not getting the correct answers from the person I hired to mow!
