cub cadet 782

I have a cub cadet mdl 782 that has a lift arm bracket broken from the hydraulic lift arm on the left side. I think a previous owner used the mower assembly as a step. The bracket is okay but the small weld is broken. If the mower assembly is removed will it allow the bracket to be placed on the lift arm for welding?

There are two different types of Implement Lifts for the 782, depending on the serial number range.

As a suggestion, go to this link to see what version you have. You can either see how to remove the lift arm for repair or replace it.
