I have a cub 3235 lawn mower about 7-8 years old. I have a small leak in the trans pan(small crack). Cub calls for Drive System Fluid Plus. It goes through about 1 gal a year at about $30 for a gal around here (wi). Is there any other fluid that is safe to use. thanks jeff31

I use Dexron transmission fluid in my Wards hydrostatic drive and the hydraulic lift uses that too. It is almost 37 years old. You could probably use Hytran, but it may not be any cheaper. Hal
