Looking at CUB with planter, fertilizer box, and culviaters (sp) decent looking, rubber good, hydraulic lift, need to hear it run asking $4900 thinking offer$4500. want to do large garden.

You will love the Cub there are so many tools available for the cult. Agri has the disc hillers for 30 they are great. You need a step for gtting on and off .

Having a new to you Cub is the charging system up to snuff. First thing i did as i have three of them was to remove the hood and get the gen serviced and also the starter checked out cause when i want to use one i want it to start and keep the batt charged no fun when you get ready to use and then fine out there is a problem.

"Check prices" meaning even $4500 is on the high end of the price spectrum for any Cub.

For that kind of money I would expect a Cub in premium condition with several implements, or a special Cub like a 1979 model in original paint. No leaks. Tight steering. New or nearly new tires.

Some of implements that come with this Cub are more valuable, but they would only put the price of an average Cub up in the $2500 range if you ask me.

I would agree, 4500 is high end, I would want to be more like 3000

Way too much for a cub. Around here in East Tennessee, $2000-2500 will get you a very nice Cub. The planter is a plus.

Looked at cub to day parts missing for fertilizer and planter this was the main thing that I wanted cub for will keep using my super C to plant garden. I need to find a manual and some parts for my 221 planter would like to also find fertilizer attachment

I like farmall tractors, but a cub hasn't ever been worth 3000 or 4500 !!
