Cultivator question

Will the cultivators from a super A fit a 100 if they are designed for hydraulic lift? How about from a 140 back to a 100? I'm trying to keep an eye out for a set for my 100 from around my area of western NY. I have a rear section and right side frame with no teeth. Need a left side and some shanks. Seems the only cultivators around here are attached to a 140 and those are still popular in vegetable and strawberry patches and not separable. Unfortunately there are no junk yards around here any more that I know of to look or ask.

Should be the same, 100, 140 ,super A with hydraulics. I know, I have a 100, used to use a 140 on the farm years ago, friend of mine has a super A. All have cultivators.

Rear sections will have some differences depending on Fast-Hitch or not. I think the fronts will all mix with no noteworthy differences from Super A through 140.

all the same. The ones from a fast hitch will not have rear mounting brackets for a non-fast hitch tractor. The later ones on a 140 had a locking adjustment nut on the universal mounting frame, but that really doesn't matter. Other than that the same. When you take the hood and grille off your tractor, it really is no different than a 130 or 140.

I only have one set for a Super A and plan to put it back on the tractor. I do have multiple sets of cultivators for an A though. I don't know anything about a 100, but if it is similar to the Super A, then I doubt the A cultivators would fit, since they don't fit the Super A.

I live in Western, NY also. Not sure what part you're in but I can say that I do still see them now and then around here (Super A's) and more so down in PA. The Lancaster Farming paper seems to have a set every month or so in the classifieds and Wenger's carries many Super A cultivator sets/parts (https://www.external_link/wholegoods/). They always seemed to have a surplus of Super A's but never regular A's when I needed them. If there aren't any listed on their website, just call them. They usually have pallets of parts for them in their yard. Its a bit of a drive (4 1/2 hours) from me but you can make a day of it and stock up on parts and used equipment!
