Custom CASE 830 LP or GAS Intake

Planning on building a mid to upper 400s cubic inch engine using CASE 830 LP heads. Does anyone out there know if there's someone making custom intakes for these. Right now I'm planning on using a 400 Diesel intake with a machined aluminum adapter to fit the carb to it. Is that intake going to be big enough? Any ideas on what I could use?

I presume you are burning gasoline? A regular 730/830 gas intake will bolt right on the 830 LP heads. If you're simply looking for more air flow, if you can machine an adaptor to go to a diesel intake you should be able to make an intake too. I know a couple guys that could do it... it only takes $$$$.

I would think you'd have to modify the ferrels to adapt a diesel intake which would drop your size back down the the gas intake size???? I have a gas intake if interested.
