Cut a few acres today

Helped a friend cut a few acres of beans. He planted a few acres for the first time and got me to cut them they turned out pretty good my boy loved it. The old Gleaner done great

Must have been planted real late. Were they planted into wheat stubble to get a second crop?How did they stand at this late date? was there a lot of shatter?Good your son got to help. An older combine seems to 'add flavor' to the job.

Not sure when he planted they were standing up good he planted with a tye notill drill there's still a lot of beans to be cut in our area
