Can some one tell if I take and jumper the cut out for my gen. to polerize the genny am I going to see a spark?

Hmmmmm not seeing any spark when I jumper it went out to start it today and was all most dead. took off batt. cables and cleaned them. so I thouht I should repolerize it. Been starting all winter :/

disconnecting the bat does not make you need to polarize it.

every time you turn the tractor off the cutout (should) disconnect the bat from the genny...
