Cutting stainless steel pipe

I can ask questions but probably not help much.
What kind of stainless?
How big is it - diameter, wall thickness? How many cuts do you need to make?

If by pipe cutter you mean a tubing cutter like you use for copper, probably not. I have usually used a cut-off wheel.

Yes, a pipe cutter will work.

Threading is another issue. Requires lots of oil, good sharp dies. The type that open when done are best.

When I worked in an aircraft job shop, if we had a lot of stainless tubing to cut, we'd put an old blade on the big do-all band saw. We'd mount the blade backwards. It was friction sawing. It kind of burned it's way through the stainless. It actually cut pretty fast. If we used a good blade, it would quickly wear out anyway

(quoted from post at 17:02:56 04/05/22) If you have access to a plasma cutter it will cut anything that will conduct electricity; brass, bronze, stainless, etc.

Of course it will, everybody knows that. What I was talking about was back in about 1969.

He was simply offering another option, nothing to do with you. Are you just looking for opportunities to be rude?
