D 14 ???

I am looking at a D-14 gas. What should I check for problems and how?

check for if it pops out of 3rd gear when driving. I personaly have never had problems with mine but hear it is a very common problem.

Try to make sure the oils are staying in their respective cavities. If there is an internal seal leaking or the lift cylinder hyd oil can drain into the rearend.
Check the Power Director to make sure it shifts and doesn"t pop out.

Stand on the brakes while moving- run the PD in hi and lo- should keep pulling. If not, it"s a split and rebuild.
