D oil filter

Trying to locate a source for an oil filter for an early styled D,before (146500) JD#AA2454R.

anywhere & everywhere. john deere dealership, napa, fleet farm, etc. common as dirt.

Does this have the metal filter? if so you will have to install the paper filter adapter AA2096R to use the paper filter. The metel filter was just washed out and put back in.
The long bolt, filter adapter ,end cap assy.( Parts from a doner tractor will fix you up).

All that was there is the long stud and the end cap-cover.I wondered about the conversion that the parts book shows. To GTX ,already tried Deere, Napa, ect... not available for 146500 and before.

Actually, GTX was right. Parts are available at Deere. Parts guy must be sleeping or new. The number you gave subs to AA2094R and AA2096R. Expensive, but available.
