D14 Oil Pan

Looking to remove the oil pan on my D14. As I look at it it seems it might be possible to get it off without removing the front end but I'm wondering if it would be less aggravation to just pull the front end. Anyone with experience on this?

Thanks

Narrow front end ?? It will come off but you might have to remove the front tires. Wide front?? You can try it but if it won't clear the WF frame, place a jack under the torque housing, remove the rear pivot bolt, let the axle sag OR roll it backwards, raise the jack two inches and roll the axle forward enough to get out of your way.
