I'm getting ready to replace the oil pan gasket on my series 1 D17. I checked the threads here and got some good skinny on how to handle the tricky gasket. Question is I have is, while I have the pan off is there anything else I should look for/check while I'm under there?
Also, have developed a small leak where the power director lever goes into the housing (sitting in the driver's seat it would be near where your right big toe is). Leak is slight at this point, but new so it got my attention. Is there a gasket or seal in there that may need replacing? Any thoughts?
