looking at a d17 sereis 3 back tires and rims are gone hand clutch dont work will knot run motor turns over looks like the tin is all there is it worth fixing even as a gift its a gas Jerry

Jerry, I don't know much about the cost of parts for the D-17, but it's a good looking tractor. I'd say yes.

Well since the price is right.LOL I would put some money in it.
Get it running first before you spend money on rims and tires.

If it's been sitting a while in damp conditions getting it running could be as simple as touching up the points.
