D19 hydraulic pump

Does a d19 have a suction strainer on the hydraulic pump? If so how would I got about getting to it.

Yes, there is a screen/gasket combo. You have to remove the cast iron hydraulic sump from directly underneath the fuel tank where there are two steel lines coming down out of it. What is your issue?? Hyd oil level dipstick is to the left of the gearshift and threads into the casting. Must be half-way up on the stick with engine off and tractor sitting level for 20 minutes.
