Can anyone tell me where the serial number is on a Cat D4D? Thanks for any help.

Sitting in seat left rear corner of steering clutch case.right side of engine block, diretly above the starter, on the firewal in the operators compartment in front of the right brake pedal. it should be on a tag and stamped into the metal
