I didn't know Dale Tibbe had passed away. I was looking through some auction listings and found his estate sale. Last time I saw him was at LaGrange when they were featuring Oliver and we had the third gathering of the 500s and 600s. He had a toy 77 and mounted picker that he wanted me to have. He'd had an auction shortly before Emma passed away and sold a lot of stuff. I bought a lot of parts that day. It was quite a shock to see that he'd passed. Sorry to hear he has passed away. Always looked forward to seeing his display at the toy shows. I guess the last time I saw him was at the National Oliver Show in Oakley.

Ya, come to think of it, that was the last time I saw him too. That was a week after LaGrange. I sat there with him on Sunday morning for a while before he packed up. Seems like somebody else sat there with us, maybe Lenray?
Anyway, I found his obituary. He just passed away last month.

I just bought 10 Serbian blue spruce from the county tree sale yesterday. Having just read his obit, I will plant one for him. May he RIP.

His son sent me one of the cards yesterday that they hand out at the funeral home. That was nice.
