Dash paint on a 460

I was talking to Ken the other day and we were talking grey or black dash color. I looked up the serial number and mine is a late 1960 model. There were only 168 made after this one if the next years production numbers started where the last of 1960 models left off. Anyhow It appeared to be a faded grey but when I removed the old gear pattern tag it looks more black. It could be a graphite grey or dark gunmetal color. Is there a chance that this late in the run they were switching to black or did they just wait for the 61's? Does anyone know the correct paint code and a brand to get? Thanks.

I always thought that the black dash came in with the new deluxe
seat and new style PTO in the middle of '62. Both of those items
have black in them, which would be a reason to paint the dash
black. My 2cents
