I just bought a regular that i believe to be 1926, but there are two things throwing me off, it has no stamped number on the frame, no tag. Correct me if im wrong, but i believe they started stamping in 1927. It has the earlier style choke with the control on the bottom, a two piece manifold and mufffler, earlier intake system with the spring clamps, and thicker heavy intake stack. Engine serial is 5020. All this leads me to believe its a 1926, but the governor housing isn't round, and its a three bolt carburetor, which is giving me pause. Any input is welcome

these tractors were upgraded as improvements became available. My 1926 Regular has electric start, foot brakes, and a Monroe Easy Rider seat, added by the farmer who used it at the time. Pretty sure the square governor was an upgrade too, mine has it, and a short air intake, probably from hitting too many low hanging branches.

Where on the frame have you looked? It's ahead of the radiator on the left side. May have to grind the rust off to see it.

I would still trade
If you would wanna id like factory rounds for one of my regulars, not sure which id put them on but ive been wanting a set. 24 or 28 inch? I have a couple more pictures. Im still not entirely sure they're regular wheels tho, the spokes look thicker. But i can send you pics, a friend of mine was wondering if they were 21-32 Twin City wheels

Northern neighbor, I have a carcass of an IH cultivator that was left here. It looks like you are needing some. Let me know. You can grab them on the trip south in September.
