Dating an 841-D Powermaster

Hey y'all-

I've got an 841-D Powermaster, and as usual with the diesels, the serial number is loooong gone from battery acid corrosion.

Are there any other obvious dates or codes to look for on cast components, housings, etc that'll get me in the neighborhood? I know there's variability between the manufacturing dates of components versus the ultimate assembly of the tractor.

It was serviced by a dealer at some point to be upgraded to the late harmonic balancer, rotary oil pump, and the larger hood-mounted air cleaner. It's got a rebuilt-stamped injector pump on it, too.

This is more just for my pondering than anything significant.

Thanks!
Ken
