I didn't read through all your posts, but if you're trying to buy a Bradley saw, seems it shouldn't be hard. I've passed up many. Not a great saw as a user, but interesting as a collector.

A guy near me buys up many old saws and shop inventories from all over the country. He specializes in antique McCulloch parts and sells all over the world. He's usually got piles of many old saws laying around.

He's an old bachelor and spend his life either coyote/fox trapping, or running his saw and mower shop. It's worth giving him a call and asking. If he doesn't have any old Bradleys laying around, he'll point you in the right direction.
If no one answers the phone, keep trying. He opens his shop whenever he feels like it. But, trapping season is over, so he ought to be there most of the time.

This David Bradley has been sitting in the barn for the last 30 years. I have never run it. Don't even know if I have or can find the missing parts. The model # is 917 60029.

I don't think Bob is an old bachelor. I was just up there last week and his lady friend whom I have seen over there the past four years brought him a cup of coffee. Now if they are married or not I don't know. Yes he has a HUGE amount of Mac parts but he keeps his shop very clean and throws most junk out. I have been through his "junk" pile and don't remember any Bradleys.
They show up on Ebay now and then for not a whole lot of money. Jeffcat
Bob is very fair on his prices and a lot of fun to go visit. He is just off interstate 88 about half way to Albany from Bingumton, NY Jeffcat
