David Brown 1210

On a David Brown 1210 do you have to remove hydraulic pump to change fan belt. Thanks

If I remember, just remove the shaft between the pump and harmonic balancer to put the belt over the harmonic balancer. I believe 4 bolts on each end holds the shaft in place. RG Martin can tell you in detail.

Basically... either remove all the hydraulic lines, unbolt the pump and slip the belt over the pump or take out the drive shaft on the engine end, unbolt the pump and undo the pressure lines and let the pump move on the suction side where you can slip the belt between the pulley and the 4 bolt flange.

zip tie a second belt out of the way over the shaft so that when it has to be done again it is a 5 minute job.
