I recently put a loader on DB 1212, the loader is strong but extremely slow. Is there any way to speed it up. The filters are clean and oil is new. I took loader off of a DB 995, it was slow on that tractor, but it is even slower on the 1212. Any help would be appreciated.

The standard hydralic pump on a 1210 is only 7 gallons per minute when its new, if you have the double pump there is a lever some place by the seat that combines the flow of both pumps to 14 GPM, this was when they were new, now they are 45 years old,might have it flow tested to see what it has. The loaders that Case sold back then had small cylinders on them to make them go faster, but were still slow, I'm afraid that's the nature of the beast.

My tractor has a single pump and the loader is a Massey Ferguson.

Using a PTO pump would be an option.
