David Brown 1490 weight?

Hi,
I’m looking at buying a David brown1490 (with a cab, loader and bucket) and hopefully I would tow it back behind a pickup with a 3.5 ton towing capacity I am in the UK. Does anyone know what the tractor weighs and a rough guess of the weight of the loader?
I have found specs on tractor data but they don’t seem right. If correct is that wet weight or dry weight does anyone know
Thanks in advance

And does it have fluid in the tires, or wheel weights?

Some loaders are built quite stout and heavy, some are kind of light.

I think you have a lot of variables, hard for any of us to guess any better than you can.

Are you towing it, or hauling it on a trailer?

Tractordata.com says it could be between 6500 and 7500. I usually use the higher number and then gestimate the extras. Screenshot_20250822_131303_Chrome.jpg

If the tires are loaded could be another 1200-1500 pounds extra. I recently removed almost 600 pounds from one 14.9x38 tire which is close to the size of the tire tractordata says is supposed to on it.

On a trailer
No extra weight
2wd
Cab
Loader
Bucket

Adding the trailer weight might put you above the trucks rated capacity. in the U.S.A. that is not illegal, but in some Canadian provinces it is illegal. Check with your local authorities.
