I have a david brown 990 and with every one I have seen all the gaskets leak. I had the engine rebuilt 2 years ago and they still leak. any advice or just put up with it. I hate leaks

I've pretty well given up on gaskets and instead use a silicone type sealant.Not cheap as it's around $50-60/tube. Email Elmer Landman (DB Guru) at [email protected] and he'll fill you in on the specific type to use.Used this compound to replace the gasket between the trans. and rear end of my 880 last year, still dry as a bone!!
